A Milestone in Mediation: Celebrating Oudey Tadros

A first mediation is an important milestone for any attorney. For LSA Attorney Oudey Tadros, that milestone also came with a successful result for the client.

After an eight-hour mediation, the matter concluded with a fully executed settlement agreement that recovered approximately 70% of the assets at issue.

But the work that helped make that resolution possible began long before mediation day.

Following the Financial Trail

In the month leading up to the mediation, Oudey spent countless hours reviewing thousands of pages of subpoenaed financial records. His task was to piece together a complicated trail of cash transfers and establish a clear tracing of assets as they moved between multiple parties.

It was detailed, painstaking work and exactly the kind of matter where Oudey’s background proved especially valuable.

In addition to his legal practice, Oudey has an extensive academic background in accounting and business. He earned both his B.A. in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from Chapman University, graduating summa cum laude, as well as a B.B.A. from Chapman. That foundation allows him to approach matters involving complex financial structures with both a legal and financial perspective.

By carefully analyzing the records and tracing the movement of funds, Oudey helped build a clear picture of what had occurred and provided critical support heading into mediation.

Preparation That Made a Difference

Mediation may take place over the course of a single day, but successful outcomes are often built on weeks or months of preparation behind the scenes.

In this case, that preparation helped the parties reach a resolution after eight hours of mediation, resulting in the recovery of a significant portion of the assets at issue.

For Oudey, the outcome made his first mediation an especially memorable professional milestone, and demonstrated the detail-oriented, strategic approach he brings to his work at LSA.

Oudey’s practice focuses on business disputes and litigation, trust and estate matters, and real estate transactions. Across those areas, his combination of legal, accounting, and business experience allows him to dig into complicated issues while remaining focused on practical solutions for clients.

Congratulations to Oudey on a successful first mediation, and on to the next one!
