BIOGRAPHY
Zebulon (“Zeb”) Law has practiced law in Southern California since 1992, representing many of the region’s most prominent families in sophisticated estate, tax, and business planning matters. He began his career at KPMG, later becoming a partner at two respected Orange County firms before founding his own practice in 2002.
Zeb earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Long Island University, C.W. Post College (summa cum laude), his J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. He also studied economics and international tax law in London with professors from the London School of Economics. Zeb is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
For more than three decades, Zeb’s practice has focused on complex estate, tax, and business planning, as well as trust and probate administration. He has represented business owners across Southern California and advised clients on the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate. He has implemented sophisticated estate planning structures, including irrevocable trusts and family limited partnerships, which have saved clients well over a billion dollars in estate and gift taxes.
In addition to his estate, tax, and business planning work, Zeb leads a team of attorneys experienced in complex trust and probate litigation. He has represented both trustees and beneficiaries in high-stakes disputes, including some of the largest trust cases in Orange County, achieving highly favorable results.
Zeb is also the founder of Trust Experience, Inc., a professional trustee and fiduciary company that combines the credibility of an attorney-led firm with the attentiveness of a dedicated fiduciary partner. The firm provides experienced, licensed fiduciaries to provide thoughtful, reliable administration of complex trusts.
An active scholar and educator, Zeb has published numerous articles in leading trust, estate, and tax journals. He lectures nationwide and has presented at programs hosted by the American Bar Association, state bar associations, and leading tax conferences and continuing legal education programs. Since 2002, he has served as an adjunct professor at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he teaches Estate and Gift Tax and Wills and Trusts.
Zeb has also served as a trustee for high-net-worth clients and remains active in his community, supporting several Orange County charities and serving on the board of the Chapman University Estates & Trusts Endowment Advisory Committee.
