BIOGRAPHY

Aimee Paja is an attorney at Law Stein Anderson, LLP, where she specializes in civil litigation, with particular emphasis on defending clients against personal injury, negligence, and premises liability claims. Her practice also includes trust and estate litigation, where she represents stakeholders in disputes involving wills, trusts, and estate matters. She brings to her work a unique blend of prosecutorial, judicial, and appellate experience, along with a background representing corporate clients in consumer finance matters, giving her clients the benefit of thoughtful and strategic representation.

Aimee’s career began in public service. She served as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County, California, where she prosecuted criminal cases and developed significant courtroom skills. Additionally, she clerked for a judge at the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles and, prior to moving to the United States, served as a Court Attorney at the Court of Appeals in the Philippines, where she gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and honed her legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Prior to joining Law Stein Anderson, Aimee represented corporate clients in multiple jurisdictions across the country. She defended companies against claims under federal and state consumer protection statutes, including the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Her ability to navigate these intricate regulatory frameworks has made her a trusted advocate for businesses facing high-stakes disputes.

Aimee earned her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of San Carlos in the Philippines, and later obtained her Master of Laws from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in both California and the Philippines, and is fluent in Tagalog, Cebuano/Visayan, and Waray. Outside of her legal career, Aimee is a proud mom and wife who enjoys spending time with her family.
