BIOGRAPHY
Thomas Pedersen is an associate with Law Stein Anderson, LLP practicing business litigation, probate litigation, and general civil litigation. From commercial cases to real estate disputes to intrafamily lawsuits, Thomas Pedersen identifies the client’s interest, formulates a strategy to that end, and zealously advocates for the client to resolution.
Thomas has handled a diverse portfolio of cases involving family law, bankruptcy, civil rights, domestic violence and elder abuse, appeals and writs, probate and trust litigation, and criminal law as attorney of record in state and federal courts. While operating as a solo practitioner for eight years he learned to appreciate the challenges faced by business owners. He grew to appreciate the value of teamwork when he joined the law firm Larsen & Risley, Inc. and even more so upon coming to Law Stein Anderson, LLP.
Thomas received his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California where he earned a CALI Awards for being the top student in Mediation and completed an externship with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office.
Thomas completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater while also interning for a criminal and family law firm.
Thomas fills his “free time” with many pro bono matters and enjoys participating in public clinics wherever he can be useful, be it eviction, immigration, tax, or wherever he can find an opportunity to be of service. He lives in Orange County but every fall reverts to being a Wisconsin cheesehead cheering on his home team Green Bay Packers.
