A Clear Will Forward: Bryan Johnson Brings Estate Planning to Seniors

Bringing Estate Planning to Seniors

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. — April 23, 2026 — Bryan K. Johnson, Senior Associate at Law Stein Anderson, LLP, recently led an Estate Planning Fundamentals workshop for older adults at the Norman P. Murray Senior Center in Mission Viejo. The session comes at a time when older adults are often targeted by misleading financial tactics online, underscoring the need for clear, unbiased education and informed financial control.

The session was part of a free nonprofit educational series hosted by Financial & Estate Literacy, which provides unbiased, tax-informed instruction designed to make financial and estate planning topics more accessible to the public. The program is offered through in-person and virtual workshops at senior centers and libraries across Orange County.

Johnson guided attendees through the core components of estate planning, including powers of attorney, advance health care directives, wills and trusts, and how assets are transferred at death. He also addressed practical considerations such as probate avoidance, trust administration, and tax implications, helping participants understand how these tools function together in a comprehensive plan.

The presentation focused on clarity and education, giving attendees a stronger foundation to understand their options and engage more confidently in financial planning discussions for the future.
