At Law Stein Anderson, we appreciate that big or small, companies can play a pivotal part in helping to shape their communities. As residents with families in the community, we have particular passions for certain causes and wanted to share some of the organizations we support.
Alzheimer’s Orange County
Every 66 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer’s, with over 5.1 million affected in 2015. This number is set to triple by 2050, to a projected 13.8 million, barring the development of medical breakthroughs to prevent or cure the disease (ref: alzoc.org).
At Law Stein Anderson, our practice areas, many times, include elderly clients or children with elderly parents or relatives. We have experienced firsthand the physical and emotional distress this disease has on families.
People age 65 and older are our clients, our family, our friends, and our community and we are grateful to be able to support this invaluable organization.
2023 Walk4ALZ
More than 84,000 Orange County residents battle Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia. Unfortunately, that number is projected to more than triple by 2025. Walk4ALZ raises funds to provide research, programs, advocacy, and local support services for those living with memory loss and for those who love them.
There was a wonderful turnout by community members who came out on this beautiful day to show their support. Law Stein Anderson raised over $2,000 to help fund Alzheimer’s Orange County’s services and programs. We look forward to walking again next year for this fantastic cause!
Chapman University
Chapman University is among the top universities in the country, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report. Chapman was ranked as a top-tier institution, an indication of its rising reputation, student selectivity, world-class faculty and growing research programs.
One of our partners is an Adjunct Professor in Tax & Estate Planning and many of our attorneys are graduates of the Fowler School of Law at Chapman, so of course we continue to be proud to support this exceptional university.
South Central Lamp
South Central LAMP provides a supportive and nurturing environment for economically poor women and their families.
For nearly 30 years, they have provided programs that empower women and children to reach their full potential, build self-esteem and strengthen mutual interdependent relations.
Supporting this worthy organization has been a long-time passion for one of our partners and we enjoy taking a hands-on, team approach each year to help these women and their families.
Life Styles
The programs at Life Styles help individuals with disabilities acquire skills that empower them to live productive, self-determinant lives at home, work, and play. The caring and skilled staff ensures all people are treated with respect and dignity to help individuals with disabilities in reaching their full potential as contributing members of the community.
We are proud to support this respected organization.
